Use case

Review records after they disappear

Open a previously captured version when a ticket, customer, or agreement is no longer in the live PSA.

The question your team needs to answer

“What did this ticket or customer record say before it disappeared?” A live system cannot show what is no longer present, and absence alone does not prove why it vanished.

What must already exist

The relevant record and relationship data must have been captured successfully before the switch, deletion, outage, or change. Permissions and vendor API coverage still define what is available.

Review history

A practical workflow

  1. Identify the missing record and check filters, permissions and archived views.
  2. Check the vendor's recovery procedure and applicable window.
  3. Locate a successful capture from before the record disappeared.
  4. Review its capture date, relationships and conversation visibility.
  5. After native recovery, reconcile the restored record and related files.

Find native recovery options and check the conversation history.

A useful historical record includes its capture date, source identity and relationships. Review the native workflow before planning your archive.
