Start with native recovery

NinjaOne Ticketing retains deleted tickets on the Deleted Tickets board for 30 days. Open that board, select the relevant tickets and use Restore before permanent deletion. Review condition-ticket conflicts when an open condition ticket already exists for the device. See NinjaOne Ticketing: Delete and Restore Tickets.

Confirm identity and visibility

Record the native ID, customer, requester and last known dates before acting. Check whether filters, permissions, an archive or a merge explain the missing item. Ask an authorized administrator to confirm the record’s current state.

Check the recovered record

An individual ticket CSV can include public and private comments while the deleted ticket remains accessible. Preserve that file with its export time zone and verify attachments separately.

Use earlier captured history

An earlier export can show what was retained before the record changed. Keep its capture date and source identifiers visible, and restrict internal notes to the appropriate audience. For file evidence, open the saved file itself and retain its parent-record reference.

Plan the next capture through the NinjaOne export guide. Related native documentation: NinjaOne Ticketing: A Guide to Exporting Tickets. The deleted-record history use case connects recovery preparation to longer-term archive access.
